The Writing Workshop is taking a break over the summer, but will be back in October 2025.
The Writing Workshop is an informal group in which we aim to encourage writing in all genres and on a wide range of subject or themes.
For each session members are given a suggested subject or theme and are free to write on this or on a subject of their own choosing.
Work should be a maximum of 2 sides of A4 but can of course be of any length within those parameters. Work is read aloud and discussed with the whole group. Occasionally, we may work on writing challenges chosen on the day. The atmosphere is positive, supportive and very enjoyable.
The group consists of no more than 15 members and we do have some vacancies currently
