The Writing Workshop is now closing (from March 2026).
Thank you to all who have contributed to the activities of this group over the years.
The Writing Workshop was an informal group in which we aim to encourage writing in all genres and on a wide range of subject or themes.
For each session members were given a suggested subject or theme and are free to write on this or on a subject of their own choosing.
Work should be a maximum of 2 sides of A4 but can of course be of any length within those parameters. Work was read aloud and discussed with the whole group. Occasionally, we worked on writing challenges chosen on the day. The atmosphere was positive, supportive and very enjoyable.
