This group will re-start on 18th October 2024
We read a full play each fortnight from a selection we borrow from East Sussex Libraries.
Play scripts are distributed beforehand, so there is no need to buy your own. As the size of parts varies, efforts are made to cast fairly over the term.
Wannabe actors do not need to learn or rehearse parts, but if you have a good ear for accents, you can help to bring characters to life. Our sessions are good fun and members are asked to take an occasional turn in casting. Anyone interested in joining is invited to try one session before committing for the term.
We try to include plays representative of their time and genre. Recently playwrights include Ibsen, Stoppard and Bennett
