If the Financial Times is to be believed then financial Armageddon is around the corner. How do we make sense of it all? Inflation, debt, fiscal and monetary policies, shadow banks, inequality and crises from the past are just a few of the many topics that might be discussed from the perspective of the many schools of economic thought.
The group meets once a fortnight all year, has a maximum size of 6, (there is a waiting list at present) and functions like a book group. Instead of a book, chosen beforehand, the group selects a video or a print or internet article to focus the discussion.
