Bridge for Improvers

This group is for people who have completed a beginners’ course in bridge and want to continue to play and learn, or others who may not yet have the confidence to play in a more competitive environment.

We use the Acol system of bidding. We will be playing duplicate bridge and will mostly play random hands to practise all we have previously learned. We have some experienced bridge players who come along to advise on bidding and play, and to try to ensure we have full tables and no one has to sit out.

We play throughout the year and pay once a quarter.

The charge for the 11 weeks 7 October-16 December 2025 is £14 .. £11 + £3 annual consumables fee.
